Female Founders Breaking Boundaries

Why I Don't Drink the Kool-Aid (about EOS) [Rerelease]

Casey Gromer Episode 91

There was a point in time where it clicked for me that the entrepreneurial operating system (EOS) was not geared toward the women entrepreneurs who are shouldering the home responsibilities while running their business, but rather to the male counterpart who are encouraged to work long hours and travel away from home. That’s why episode 91 of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries is about why I don’t drink the Kool-Aid (in regards to EOS)!

Have you ever felt like you were WAY too busy, stressed out, burnt out, and overwhelmed, so you were advised to delegate some tasks to take things off your plate and free up some time? Except, maybe it didn't work. If getting out of the day-to-day in your business was as simple as hiring more people, then why are you still feeling overwhelmed and burned out? You are not alone! Sometimes, simply delegating tasks doesn’t work and instead shifts your workload from “doing” to “managing.”

I invite you to use the exercise that our own C-Suite clients use to take the first step in turning your team into a well-oiled, self-managed machine- and get you out of the delegation catch-22. Download the exercise here to get started!

Some of the things I cover in this episode are:

  • Celebrating Melissa Wirt, founder of Latched Mama for creating breastfeeding safe clothing and for supporting working moms before and during the pandemic.
  • Where the EOS system lacks in taking account the wats in which women specifically need to approach and run their business.
  • How I created my business to fill the gaps and give women entrepreneurs the flexibility they require.
  • How I approach programs and frameworks within my own business and with my clients.
  • What I actually like from EOS and what i think they are still missing.
