Boundaries Holding Women Entrepreneurs Back [Rerelease]
Show Notes

As women, there are countless systemic boundaries, both of which to some extent we can and cannot control, standing in between us from achieving success as an entrepreneur. Believe it or not, after 60+ episodes, this is still happening. That’s why this week for episode 79 of the Female Founders Breaking Boundaries podcast, I am rereleasing one of my most popular episodes where I discuss the systemic boundaries that are holding women entrepreneurs back!

Have you ever felt like you were WAY too busy, stressed out, burnt out, and overwhelmed, so you were advised to delegate some tasks to take things off your plate and free up some time? Except, maybe it didn't work. If getting out of the day-to-day in your business was as simple as hiring more people, then why are you still feeling overwhelmed and burned out? You are not alone! Sometimes, simply delegating tasks doesn’t work and instead shifts your workload from “doing” to “managing.”

I invite you to use the exercise that our own C-Suite clients use to take the first step in turning your team into a well-oiled, self-managed machine- and get you out of the delegation catch-22. Download the exercise here to get started!

In this episode of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries, I’m sharing the importance of understanding the systemic obstacles in our way, both spoken about and not, and tools you can use right now to take small, simple, and actionable steps to break these boundaries and move past them. Some of the things I cover in this episode are:

  • Celebrating Eve Rodsky author of the book Fair Play and her work on the problem of the unpaid invisible work that women have shouldered for far too long.
  • Where the child care crisis stems from and how it is impacting mothers unfairly.
  • Women holding the position as the “default parent” and the mental and invisible workload that leads to exhaustion and constant burnout.
  • The obvious (and not so obvious) places women are undervalued in the workforce.
  • The uncomfortable mindset that women carry around money causes them to undervalue their work and become less likely to find and secure money for their businesses.
  • The lack of support women receive both in the home and in their professional industry.
  • Small steps to start implementing today in order to move past these boundaries and reshape the future of women entrepreneurs.
  • Discussing our society built on building up men by riding on the backs of women’s unpaid labor.

There are endless boundaries that hold women entrepreneurs back but I encourage you today as always, to go out there and break those boundaries.
