Female Founders Breaking Boundaries
Yes, Even Integrators Are Held Accountable
Show Notes

As integrators, not only are we creating scorecards to keep your team accountable but we have our own scorecard to keep us on track to what we committed to doing for the company and track our own progress towards your goals. This week’s episode 74 of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries is about yes, even integrators are held accountable!

Have you ever felt like you were WAY too busy, stressed out, burnt out, and overwhelmed, so you were advised to delegate some tasks to take things off your plate and free up some time? Except, maybe it didn't work. If getting out of the day-to-day in your business was as simple as hiring more people, then why are you still feeling overwhelmed and burned out? You are not alone! Sometimes, simply delegating tasks doesn’t work and instead shifts your workload from “doing” to “managing.”

I invite you to use the exercise that our own C-Suite clients use to take the first step in turning your team into a well-oiled, self-managed machine- and get you out of the delegation catch-22. Download the exercise here to get started!

In this episode of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries, I’m sharing the importance of using a scorecard to lay out who is responsible for what and actionable steps you can take right now to use our scorecard template to keep everyone on your team accountable, even your integrators. Some of the things I cover in this episode are:

  • Celebrating Alex Batdorf of Get Sh!t Done, a venture-backed serial entrepreneur who works as a strategy coach to help female entrepreneurs get sh*t done.
  • Knowing the profit goal, tracking progress towards this goal, and generating reports to show the financial status of the company.
  • Setting the right goals for the business to continue advancing towards the future vision and using milestones to break the goal up into smaller, easier tasks.
  • Knowing the outstanding to-do items from the team and overseeing that these tasks get completed.
  • Creating scorecard metrics for the team themselves.
  • My deep thoughts on the Finnish Prime Minister, Sanna Marin, who has been scrutinized for “partying too much” and thus, lessening her professionalism by leading a normal life.

As an integrator, if we’re keeping on track with our own scorecard, your team will be on track with theirs and the business will be growing, scaling, and achieving its goals.
