Female Founders Breaking Boundaries

Staying in Alignment With Your Vision

Casey Gromer Episode 68

As a visionary, you may have a difficult time articulating the vision you have for your company. Because of this, it is so important to keep open communication with your 2nd in command so they can see the same picture of the vision as you and execute accordingly. This week’s episode 68 of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries is about staying in alignment with your vision!

Have you ever felt like you were WAY too busy, stressed out, burnt out, and overwhelmed, so you were advised to delegate some tasks to take things off your plate and free up some time? Except, maybe it didn't work. If getting out of the day-to-day in your business was as simple as hiring more people, then why are you still feeling overwhelmed and burned out? You are not alone! Sometimes, simply delegating tasks doesn’t work and instead shifts your workload from “doing” to “managing.”

I invite you to use the exercise that our own C-Suite clients use to take the first step in turning your team into a well-oiled, self-managed machine- and get you out of the delegation catch-22. Download the exercise here to get started!

In this episode of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries, I’m sharing the importance of developing and strengthening the relationship you have with your 2nd in command and actionable steps you can take right now to use the method I use with my clients to connect regularly and remain on the same page with one another. Some of the things I cover in this episode are:

  • Celebrating Cara Belvin, founder of empowerHER, a non-profit organization that mentors and supports girls who have lost their mothers.
  • Examples of what a 2nd in command might look like in your business.
  • The benefits a monthly check-in call can have not only on the relationship you have with your integrator but the business as a whole.
  • The key areas you should be focusing on during your check-in calls.
  • What can happen in your business when you and your integrator are not on the same page with your vision.
  • My thoughts on asking yourself, ‘I CAN do this, but do I NEED to do this.’

You and your 2nd in command are a team and your monthly check-in call is going to be the tool that ensures you remain on a united front when it comes to staying in alignment with your vision.
