Show Notes

Whether you’re going through a divorce or any other significant life change, there are so many factors that take a toll on your overall well-being. More often than not, we prepare for the physical things but it is also so important to give yourself the space to manage the emotional side as well. This week’s episode 80 of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries is about thriving through divorce as an entrepreneur!

Have you ever felt like you were WAY too busy, stressed out, burnt out, and overwhelmed, so you were advised to delegate some tasks to take things off your plate and free up some time? Except, maybe it didn't work. If getting out of the day-to-day in your business was as simple as hiring more people, then why are you still feeling overwhelmed and burned out? You are not alone! Sometimes, simply delegating tasks doesn’t work and instead shifts your workload from “doing” to “managing.”

I invite you to use the exercise that our own C-Suite clients use to take the first step in turning your team into a well-oiled, self-managed machine- and get you out of the delegation catch-22. Download the exercise here to get started!

In this episode of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries, my guest Amber Hawley shares how the emotional side of divorce impacts your business and actionable steps you can take right now to protect your emotional well-being while keeping your business afloat. Some of the things Amber and I cover in this episode are:

  • The emotional impact that a big life change can have on our business.
  • How to navigate the grieving and healing period of any big life shift.
  • When and how to give yourself grace if you are struggling emotionally.
  • How to prepare your team and plan your business around the rollercoaster of emotions that are impacting your work.

Whatever you’re feeling is not forever so in the moment, learn to give yourself space on your calendar and grace in your life and with your expectations of yourself.

Thanks for listening! Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of tools, advice, resources, support, and encouragement that resonates with the modern businesswoman and to hear even more about the points outlined above.
